Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Studies (DoS) in English, University of Mysore (UoM), has organised a programme at MA Senior Hall of the Department on Jan. 9 at 10.30 am for the release of book titled ‘Kumaravyasa – The Kannada Mahabharata’ (in English translation published by Harvard University, USA).

Prof. C.N. Ramachandran and Prof. Narayan Hegde have translated the book. Prof. S.N. Sridhar, Professor of Linguistics, State University of New York Stony Brook, New York,  is the editor.

Prof. N.K. Lokanath, Vice-Chancellor (VC), UoM, will release the book. Prof. H.S. Shivaprakash, retired Professor of English, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, will be the special guest.

Prof. K. Sadashiva, Chair-person, DoS in English, UoM C.N. Ramachandran and Krishnamurthy Hanuru, retired Professor of Kannada, UoM, will be present on the occasion.
