Mysore/Mysuru: A woman has been found dead under mysterious circumstances at Kamanakerehundi in the taluk on Saturday.

The deceased woman has been identified as Geetha, wife of Naveen Kumar. She was given in marriage to Naveen of Naganahalli 22 years ago.

Geetha’s father Siddegowda in his complaint to Mysuru Rural Police, has stated that he went to Naveen’s house after Naveen’s family members informed him that his daughter Geetha’s health was not good. But when he went to the house, Naveen’s family members informed him that she had committed suicide.

Pointing out that there were marks of wounds on his daughter’s body, Siddegowda in the complaint, expressing doubts over his daughter’s death has urged the Police for a thorough probe into Geetha’s death.

Mysuru Rural Police have registered a case and senior Police officials said that investigation into the death will be conducted after receiving the post-mortem report and legal action will be initiated against the culprits.
