Department of Physical Education and Sports of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, is hosting VTU State-level Throwball Championship 2023-24, on Feb. 16 and 17.

The Tournament will be inaugurated on Feb. 16 at 9.30 am at M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, Mysuru.

Dr. C. Venkatesh,  Chairman and Director, Department of Studies in Physical Education and Sports Sciences,  University of Mysore (UoM),  will be the chief guest. Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, Mysuru, will preside. R.K. Bharath, Board Member and CEO, GSSS, Anupama B. Pandit, Board Member and Administrative Officer, GSSS,  Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, M. Muralidhar, Regional Director, VTU, Mysuru Region, Physical Education & Sports Department Officials of the VTU, Belagavi and B.N. Harish Gowda, PE Director, Department of Physical Education and Sports, GSSSIETW,  will be present.

A total of 16 throwball teams from various VTU affiliated engineering colleges will be participating in the championship.
