Sir,

This picture alongside is that of a Rain tree trunk being burnt by vandals on Chamaraja Double Road  (100 feet road) near the Sanskrit College. The tree is in a precarious state now, that any day this burnt tree may uproot and God forbid may take lives of people passing by.

I hereby request the concerned authorities and environmental activists to stop this act of arson by vandals who set fire to litter, especially rampant during this season with dead leaves scattered around.

I request that something immediately be done about the dangerous state in which this  tree stands.
