    Acche din aa gaye.

  2. Questo says:

    So poor old men/women cannot have their kids or grandkids help them out carry the luggage. Empathy and forethought are things of fantasy these days in India. I hope they will allow one regular priced platform ticket for people helping old men/women, disabled (I still don’t know why this a rude, politically incorrect word), and other such needy people.

  3. Howdy Modi! says:

    @Questo. Interesting that the railway authorities did not consult you before introducing the newly priced platform ticket! But do not fret and fume, Deve Gowda will have ALL his kids and grandkids to wave him at the platform!

  4. Questo says:

    @Howdy, Modi This is what happens when you go blind with politics and religion/caste. Mine was a genuine concern for poor aged or helpless chaps, while you are looking at it through the political lens. When even the simplest of humane things are painted with politics, ideologies, and endlessly debated, countries collapse, like Lebanon and other middle eastern countries.

  5. Amar says:

    I think, it is better to buy a passenger train ticket which costs less than 50 instead of platform ticket.

  6. Howdy Modi! says:

    @Questo You have deluded gusto. With all your bluff and bluster of learned credentials so to speak, you failed to spot the irony in my post. That is the problem with an one trick pony whose only trick is to see politics in every thing.

  7. A V Prasanna says:

    When few people are travelling in train, and very few people from other states are entering Mysuru. With the platform ticket priced at Rs.50/- no fool will buy and enter the platform. This decision is out of fools paradise.

  8. Questo says:

    @Howdy Modi!
    Do you think I am a fan of that corrupt asshole family (Devegowda, sons, grandsons…)? In what universe my original comment is political? You would see politics even in an innocent cow… oh, wait, but you already do. You are clearly a blind bhakth, but you might be a Nehru-Gandhi family bootlicker in another parallel universe or Kumaraswamy’s die hard fan in another. While I don’t give a crap about Modis, Yogis, Gandhis, or Gowdas. I am not naive enough to trust politicians, religious heads, and other such ‘celebrities’. Neither do I identify with any caste or religion.
    You and tragically hundreds of millions like you in India, have lost their thinking cap and blindly into your own caste/religion and the politicians who are or stand for your caste/religion.

  9. Howdy Modi! says:

    @Questo. You are an ignorant and foul-mouthed cretin. So are so easily provoked , which suggests, a weak character! Rant as much as you like, revealing what a lunatic you are! Btw, I do not live in India, and never have been for decades.

  10. Meghadoot! says:

    Hey Questo
    You show off your so called literary knowledge, but do not even recognise the irony in what @Howdy Modi observed in these lines;: “But do not fret and fume, Deve Gowda will have ALL his kids and grandkids to wave him at the platform!”. This is so elementary @Questo. It does mean the new platform ticket price will not apply to Deve Gowda who is always surrounded by a plethora of his family members.
    Never , mind , this irony passed you by! If you live in US, it appears that country which has no free public health care has let Covid-19 to penetrate the brains of its residents causing the very symptoms you reveal through you recent post. Check your medical insurance clauses, which excludes Covid-19 treatment, Only senators and other similar politicians, have the gold-plated insurance, which allows Covid-19 treatment.
    Good luck. But observe the cyber etiquette.
    I suggest a good read of Alexander Pope, to understand the subtle irony. Do not worry about me. I am safe in a country with free public healthcare.

  11. Hello, hello! says:

    @Meghdoot.
    You are asking the self-styled Kannada literary critic @Questo to read Alexander Pope’? It is beyond his capability; like it is for so many who migrated to the US after 1980s, thanks to their manifold effort which does not include good academic career. Trump has let them down so will be papa Joe Biden and his running mate the Jamaican-origin ( she thinks so) Harris.

  12. Questo says:

    @Meghadoot, Hello…
    LOL, who is showing off “literary knowledge”? ME? Much of my exposure to the art world was in my teens (till my 12th and a bit into my undergrad). But, if you think the way I talk is showing off “literary knowledge”, that says a lot about you. You guys have no idea what the people in the upper echelons of the literary sphere think like or talk like do you? This is laymen’s lingo. It’s like calling someone wearing a 10,000 Rs suit and driving a Civic car a showoff. You guys should go out and explore more, get out of your small, parochial bubbles, expand your thinking, go see lambos, ferraries, and porsches.

  13. Meghadoot! says:

    Hey Questo
    First, get tested for Covid-19 infection. Second, put a wet towel on your head to cool your overheated brain which is malfunctioning, as it cannot fathom subtle irony. Third, shut up to hide your ignorance and arrogance. Finally, swallow your misplaced pride and eat the humble pie.

  14. Questo says:

    @Hello, Meghadoot, and Modi Bhakts
    Who the fuck is Alexander Pope? Oh… of course, I am not going to read some ancient English poet. What do you think I do for a living? Write dissertations on pointless critiques on some poet’s works? No, I don’t spend more than 10% of my precious time on anything that’s not a string of abstract mathematical equations that transport me from this world full of morons to mesmerizing cosmos. At least I know that I am a plebeian when it comes to literature, you guys apparently even lack the capability to assess your own capabilities. It should be made mandatory for Indian Bhakts to take a course on the Dunning-Kruger effect.

    PS: @ Howdy Modi, not provoked, but this is me venting out. I need to spew out all my bitterness. So I do it for a good purpose– pissing off ignorant bhakths and the guys who defend rapes and brutal murders in the name of their castes.

  15. Hello, hello! says:

    @Meghdoot
    This character @Questo has some kind of extreme affliction: Could be Covid-19 infection as you suspect, but his posts sound extremely disorganised hostility and extreme reaction to even to a subtle irony ( which was not directed at him at all, but to the Mysuru railway station authority)-the symptoms of Schizophrenia.

  16. Howdy Modi! says:

    @Meghdoot and @Hello, hello
    Your observations are spot on. This @Questo character needs help, and I doubt he gets it if he lives in the US, as mental health issues there means a certain job loss.
    He is a downright raving lunatic calling 3 of us as Bhakths: when we 3 say clearly, we do not live in India, and we often ridicule all Indian politicians.

  17. arun rao says:

    Hello Folks
    Please stop winding up this guy who calls himself Questo, and thinks he is at par with Chandra (S Chandrasekhar) or Einstein, expecting the Nobel Prize soon, but cannot even grasp an abstract line by @Howdy Modi which ridicules the new platform pricing. Probably needs to be pitied for his delusions. He is at the point of total mental breakdown!

  18. Questo says:

    @Howdy, Meghadoot, Hello (come on, it’s tiring to type three names. If you are one guy, just leave different comments, no need to pretend to be a different guy. Oh, that explains things, so you are projecting all your insecurities and psychological issues upon me it seems.)

    Yeah, sure, you are not a bhakth, not a caste-chauvinist, and I am the sum of Shakespeare and Einstein.

  19. Questo says:

    ** @Arun too, four different names now?

  20. arun rao says:

    @Questo
    Your medicines are clearly not working for you. Try a different psychiatrist.
