Mandya: One person was killed on-the-spot, while two others sustained serious injuries, when a tractor, which came on the wrong side allegedly rammed into the car in which they were travelling on NH-75, opposite Shanthisagar Hotel near Bellur Cross in Nagamangala taluk this morning.

The deceased is Neelakantaswamy (50) of Aladahalli village, Gandasi hobli in Arasikere taluk of Hassan district. The injured are Nanjundegowda and Shankar.

Bellur Police rushed to the spot on receiving information and conducted preliminary investigation. No case was registered when we went to the Press.
