Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the murder of Journalist Gauri Lankesh, who was shot dead in front of her house at Rajarajeshwari Nagar in Bengaluru on Sept.5, is said to have got some clue of the killers.
The murderers are said to be professional killers, who are involved in over 25 killings, according to sources.
The killers, said to be hiding in four States — Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa — are learnt to be moving from one place to another in quick time to avoid being tracked by the Police.
The Supari killers are also said to have the backing of some organisations, which are passing on timely information to them, it is learnt.
However, the SIT has so far been unable to find out who gave supari to the killers to shoot Gauri Lankesh, the sources added.
Can we have a more vague news ? NO mention of the killers’ names, names of the people who engaged them, their present location etc. If someone is passing the news he/she must be known to investigation agencies because confidential news goes to limited people. Why are they not arrested and compelled to talk ?
