There are over 100, 000 overstayers of visas , thousands of them are from Karnataka, working in the black economy doing menial work.

Karnataka people are not going in Dinghies to UK. Typically Afghans, Iraqis, Africans and even some Pakistanis do it. Among Indians, Some Sardarjis or Gujaratis may do it rarely. Karnataka people are not so mad. If they really want to go they will apply an Official Visa and travel legally.

These many universties, adding to already 1000 universities in India. Yet, thousnds of Indian students, from Karnataka included are paying people smugglers to smuggle them from France to England, on dinghies so that they canclaim asylum in England, get student loans and living costs to study in England!
