Where is Ballal, the columnist who is in perpetual delusion, when we want him now?
He was for long ranting about tourism killed by the Covid pandemic, and the absence of tourists.
Then he realised, after reading a few articles by arm chair eco warriors like Barmy Shenoy ,and Mr Ganapathy of this SOM, changed his tack, and
wanted these tourists keep way from the Chamundi Hill, and visit anything else in Mysore city! These arm chair eco warriors who themselves drive up the Hill in their cars, wanted the tourists not to do what they themselves do-a case of preaching what they themselves do not practice, an essential characteristic of Indians these days from Narendra Modi downwards! This has annoyed the Chamundeshwari Temple’s priests and a few core administrators there ,as they expect as birth right ( the priests including the chief priest get their position in dynastic practice, shaming even Nehru’s and Yedi’s and Deve Gowda’s dynasties!),the wads of Rupees notes flowing into their pockets by way of special darshans!
