Forget about the overseas-resident Indians, particularly from the Gulf States, mostly Malayalees, who go to private hospitals in their Kerala.
Mumbai ( Bombay) is geared to receive the rest from the Middle-East, with its hospitals, like the Breach Candy Hospital ( where the late Lata Mangeshkar was treated) having office with close links to the concerned embassies in India, to facilitate the paper work.
Were you aware how many Mysoreans travelled on the Shatabdi Express, since it began service, to get treatment in the CMC Hospital in Vellore?
Do you know the number of Mysoreans, who go to the Manipal multi-speciality hospital in Bengaluru?
