Mysore/Mysuru: Marking the 73rd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mysuru-Kodagu BJP MP Pratap Simha, accompanied by several BJP leaders, performed special puja at Chamundeshwari Temple atop the Hill here this morning praying for the well-being of the PM. The BJP leaders also broke 73 coconuts in front of the temple as obeisance to the deity.

Thereafter, the  MP performed ground-breaking ceremony (Guddali Puja) for the construction of houses for 21 MCC Pourakarmikas at Kurubarahalli. Simha and other leaders also performed Pada Puja of 21 Pourakarmikas on the occasion. KR MLA T.S. Srivatsa, Acting Mayor Shivakumar, Acting Deputy Mayor Dr. G. Roopa, BJP leader Jogi Manju and others were present.
