Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet from Dec. 7

Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Physical Education (DPE) of University of Mysore (UoM) will be conducting three-day 94th Inter-Collegiate Athletics Meet from Dec. 7 to 9 at Oval Grounds here. More than 800 sportspersons (men and women) from colleges affiliated to the University will be taking part in the Meet.

UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Lokanath  will inaugurate the Meet at 9 am on Dec. 7. Registrar V.R. Shylaja and Syndicate Member Dr. T.R. Chandrashekar will be the chief guests.

The valedictory will be held at 12 noon on Dec. 9. University Sports Council Member Prof. B.S. Vishwanath, Senior Journalist Amshi Prasannakumar and Syndicate Member Gokul Govardhan will be the chief guests. DPE Director Dr. C. Venkatesh will preside.
