K.M. Karthik, a student of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, was conferred with the District Youth Service Award by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of Karnataka, for his multi-talent personality. He has actively taken part in National-level Skating competitions, Karate, Drama, Sony TV Boogie Woggie, Dance, Singing and adventure activities. The award was presented by MLA S.R. Mahesh, at D.K. Koppal in K.R. Nagar taluk, Mysuru.

Karthik is the son of Suma, social worker, choreographer, dancer and Trustee of TAF and Mahesh Kumar, a professional photographer.
