Air Marshal B. Manikantan AVSM, VM AOC-in-C, SAC, IAF, presenting ‘The Air Force Trophy’ to M. Eshwer, trainer of ‘Ferretti,’ which won the races on the 8th day of Mysore (Winter) Races at Mysore Race Club (MRC) premises in city yesterday. The winning horse, owned by Pallon S. Mistry rep. Manjri Horse Breed’s Farm Pvt. Ltd., was ridden by Jockey S. Saqlain. Others seen are Air Force Officers and family and MRC Chairman K.M. Chandre Gowda. The Air Force Trophy was instituted by the Indian Air Force to commemorate the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of No. 2 Air Force Selection Board, Mysuru, in the year 1987.
