B. Vittal (80), a retired employee of Ganesh Beedi Works and a resident of Sharadadevinagar, passed away yesterday in city.

A native of Mangaluru, he leaves behind his wife Seetha, son Rajakumar (a BJP leader), daughters Rajeshwari and Jayashree and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar this afternoon, according to family sources.
