Mysore/Mysuru: Senior Gamaka Vidwan Krishnagiri Ramachandra, who was recently conferred with the Karnataka Government’s prestigious ‘Kumaravyasa’ award, will be felicitated at a programme organised under the joint aegis of Hoysala Kannada Sangha and Savigannada Patrika Balaga at Namana Kalamantapa in Krishnamurthypuram at 10.30 am on Feb.11.

KSOU Kannada faculty Dr.Jyothi Shankar will inaugurate the programme and deliver the felicitation address. Melukote Vangipura Mutt Seer Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji will grace the occasion.

District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal will preside. Senior Science writer and Savigannada Patrike Honorary editor S. Ramprasad, social worker Dr. K. Raghuram and noted Danseuse Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra will be the chief guests.

Kavigoshti (Poets Meet) on the topic ‘Lord Sriram in the eyes of poets’ has been organised as part of the event. Senior writer B.P. Ashwathnarayan will preside.
